External USB DVD Burner with Card Reader and 24x Read and Write Speed

This external USB DVD burner is a tray-loading optical drive designed for computers that need disc reading and writing without an internal drive bay. It uses a USB interface and includes a card reader in the same unit, so it can handle more than one everyday task at a desk. The drive reads DVD, VCD, DVDRW and DVDRAM discs, writes to DVD-RW, supports the DVD-RAM disc standard and offers 24x read speed and 24x maximum DVD burning speed. It has an 8MB cache capacity and measures 152 x 142 x 20mm, with colour options listed as rose red, white, Rose Gold and White. The package contains one DVD recorder.

Features and Construction

The main specifications centre on the external USB connection, the tray-loading mechanism, the 8MB cache capacity and the stated 24x read and write speeds. These details are useful when matching the drive to a particular computer setup and disc format.

Material and Build

The source text does not state a specific casing material, so the construction details are limited to the listed type, interface and loading method. It is an external DVD burner with a USB interface and a pallet-type, or tray-loading, CD loading mode. The 8MB cache capacity is stated, and the drive supports DVD-RAM as a disc standard. These are the main factual build points available from the product information.

Size and Practical Fit

The drive measures 152 x 142 x 20mm. That footprint is useful to know when placing it on a desk, beside a laptop or in a storage drawer. Because it is an external unit with a USB interface, it does not require an internal drive bay. The 20mm height also gives a clear idea of how much vertical space the drive takes up when it is sitting on a flat surface.

Uses and Placement

This drive is intended for reading and writing the disc formats listed in the source text. It can be used where a computer needs access to DVD, VCD, DVDRW or DVDRAM discs, and it can write to DVD-RW at the stated speed.

Event or Professional Use

For tasks that involve disc-based files, the 24x read speed and 24x maximum DVD burning speed are the key figures. The tray-loading mechanism allows discs to be placed and removed in the usual way. The included card reader adds a second function to the same external unit, which may reduce the need for a separate card reader at a workstation. The supported DVD-RAM standard is also stated for compatible disc use.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the drive can be connected by USB and used with the stated disc formats. Its 152 x 142 x 20mm size makes it easy to position on a desk or store when not in use. The colour options, rose red, white, Rose Gold and White, give a choice of finish for different setups. The 8MB cache capacity and 24x speeds are the main performance details provided, so expectations should be based on those stated figures.

Benefits and Buying Value

The practical value of this product comes from its external USB design, its tray-loading mechanism, its card reader and its stated read and write speeds. These features are described in the source text without additional claims about software or accessories.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

No specific maintenance instructions are given in the source text, so care should be kept simple. The drive can be stored in a dry place when not in use, and discs should match the stated formats. The tray-loading mechanism should be used as intended. Because the drive is external, it can be disconnected and stored without opening the computer case. The 8MB cache capacity is a fixed specification and does not require user maintenance.

Why Choose This Product

This external USB DVD burner may suit anyone who needs a tray-loading drive for DVD, VCD, DVDRW and DVDRAM discs, or who needs to write to DVD-RW at up to 24x. The built-in card reader is a practical addition for desks where both disc and card access are useful. The 152 x 142 x 20mm size and the colour options give clear buying information. The package contains one DVD recorder, and no other contents are stated.
